RBC donates $100,000 to assist China earthquake victims

TORONTO, May 16, 2008 — RBC today announced a $100,000 donation to the Canadian Red Cross China Earthquake relief fund to support the enormous humanitarian relief and recovery efforts in the affected areas of China.

"We believe that corporations have a responsibility to step up to the plate in times of need, both at home and abroad, "said Gordon Nixon, President & CEO of RBC.
