RBC to announce second quarter results on May 29

TORONTO, May 14, 2008 — Royal Bank of Canada (RY on TSX and NYSE) today announced that it will release its second quarter results on May 29, 2008. Information related to RBC's financial results will be available at: www.rbc.com/investorrelations.

A conference call is scheduled for May 29 at 12:30 p.m. (EDT) and will feature a presentation by Royal Bank of Canada executives. It will be followed by a question and answer period with analysts. Investors are invited to submit questions by email to invesrel@rbc.com.
