RBC to host Investor Day on April 29, 2008

TORONTO, April 16, 2008 — Royal Bank of Canada (RY on TSX and NYSE) is hosting a presentation for investors and analysts in Toronto on Tuesday, April 29, 2008. The session is expected to run from 9:00 a.m. to approximately
12:30 p.m. (EDT), focusing on Enterprise Performance Management, Enterprise Risk Management, Canadian Banking and Wealth Management.
