RBC launches Canada's first Visa Infinite card

TORONTO, March 14, 2008 — RBC Royal Bank has launched Canada's first Visa Infinite card for its private banking clients. The RBC Visa Infinite Card, the most prestigious Visa card in Canada, provides exclusive privileges including personalized servicing, customized rewards, expert travel assistance, concierge service, worldwide airport lounge access, premium insurances, and access to ultra exclusive events and experiences.

The new card, which is designed to meet the specific needs of high net worth individuals, provides unsurpassed access, service and rewards and is available by invitation only.

RBC Royal Bank will also launch a Visa Infinite edition of its popular RBC Platinum Avion Visa card. With no change to the existing Avion fee, the RBC Avion Visa Infinite card will offer enhanced services, including additional opportunities to earn points, improved travel insurance and access to unique offers.

"The Infinite edition of our Avion card will give our customers access to exclusive benefits and services they can't experience with any other card," said Sean Amato-Gauci, vice-president, Credit Cards, RBC Royal Bank. "These privileges will be added to the most flexible travel program in Canada that already provides Avion clients access to flights on any airline, with no blackout periods and points that never expire."

RBC continues to lead the Canadian market in providing innovative and secure payment solutions, including the first national chip card, the first dual credit and stored value card with Starbucks and the first Infinite Visa card.
