12 student videos are online but only six will be chosen
Voting is now open at www.rbcp2p.com
January 15th is the Deadline to Decide Who Will Win Student Blogging Jobs
WHAT: RBC p2p is a newly launched blogging forum from
RBC Royal Bank where postsecondary students can discuss their
financial experiences, share advice and ask questions. Knowing
that students don't want to take advice from people who resemble
their parents, RBC is hiring six student bloggers to create
videos and text blogs, moderate online discussions and provide
their peers with the financial information they need and want,
in a way that is comfortable and easy for them.
WHY: RBC p2p is all about helping students with their
money related questions and issues, which is why students
should be the ones to select the p2p team that will be helping
them find the answers and solutions. We've helped by narrowing
the selection down to 12 finalists out of more than 120 video
auditions. Now students have the final say.
WHO: Anyone with a computer can vote for up to four
candidates per day. The six students with the most votes will
become the blogging stars of RBC p2p. In addition to a part-time
job that will look great on a resume, they'll also receive
cool gadgets, solid pay, flexible hours that fit their schedules
and invaluable work experience.
HOW: Visit www.rbcp2p.com
to view the online audition videos of the 12 finalists to
hear why each candidate feels they'd be the best choice and
vote for your favourite applicants.
WHEN: Voting will be open until January 15, 2008
