RBC launches new series of AgriNotes
TORONTO, September 27, 2007 — RBC today announced
the launch of the RBC Principal Protected AgriNotes, Series
1 aimed at risk-averse retail investors looking to expand
their portfolio. The RBC Principal Protected AgriNotes, Series
1 offers investors access to a select group of agricultural
commodities that includes wheat, soybeans and corn.
The RBC Principal Protected AgriNotes, Series 1 are available
to self-directed investors, as well as through investment
advisors and financial planners up until November 6, 2007.
These Notes offer returns linked to 100 per cent of the average
appreciation (measured on a semi-annual basis) of the basket
of agricultural commodities and have a maturity date of November
8, 2010, resulting in a term of approximately 3 years. The
