RBC launches new series of RBC IA Clarington U.S. Dividend Deposit Notes

TORONTO, June 27, 2007 — RBC today launched the RBC IA Clarington U.S. Dividend Deposit Notes Series 1, 2, and 3 - for those risk-averse retail investors seeking greater diversity in their portfolio.

The RBC IA Clarington U.S. Dividend Deposit Notes Series 1, 2 and 3 are principal protected and linked to the Clarington U.S. Dividend Fund, managed by TCW Investment Management Company, which invests in U.S. companies that have a record of paying dividends. The RBC IA Clarington U.S. Dividend Deposit Notes Series 1 provides monthly coupons equivalent to an annualized yield of 5.04 per cent. The RBC IA Clarington U.S. Dividend Deposit Notes Series 2 (Return of Capital Series) provides a similar indicative yield, but the distributions are treated as return of capital. The RBC IA Clarington U.S. Dividend Deposit Notes Series 3 is the USD-denominated Return of Capital Series.
