Welcome to The RBC Innovation Mini Challenge!

Do you have what it takes to inspire change?

Enter the RBC Innovation Mini Challenge and show us your creative problem-solving skills. You could win $1000 for your team!

We received a great response to the new RBC Innovation Mini Challenge but only one team walked away with $1,000. Congratulations to The Pink Rangers from Simon Fraser University for their winning innovation The Innovation Experience.

The RBC Applied Innovation team would like to thank everyone that participated. It was not an easy task selecting one winner. Click the link below to read the proposal that best tackled the first Innovation Mini Challenge:

Organizations that support Social Innovation (opens external website in new window) and create social good will do better if they can work together but currently mechanisms do not exist that support easy and effective group-to-group collaboration.

"Suggest innovative ways to allow these organizations to connect and collaborate."

The Innovation Mini Challenge

The RBC Innovation Mini Challenge is a new initiative for the 2009-2010 Challenge year. Call it a 'warm-up' or 'kid-sister' to the Next Great Innovator Challenge. We asked teams of two, three or four students from Canadian universities or colleges, submit their response for a chance to win $1000.

Stay tuned for future Innovation Mini Challenges.

The Prize

$1000 in cash will be awarded to the winning team to be split equally among all team members. AND... RBC will match your prize with a donation to an RBC sponsored charity of your team's choice.*

*RBC Foundation donation choice will be made from a short list of RBC Sponsored charities provided by RBC Foundation to the Innovation Mini Challenge winners.
