RBC Royal Bank challenges you to become Canada's Next Great Innovator by developing your creative solution to a real world problem.

The Next Great Innovator Challenge Question:

The workforce and nature of work in the Financial Services industry is changing. A large number of employees are established and mid- career. Your generation, who have had very different experiences are just beginning their careers.

"Suggest innovative methods or tactics to transform the workplace to match the needs of an evolving and increasingly diverse workforce."

Cash prizes and invaluable exposure

The top 5 teams will compete for $45,000.00 in prizes. However, the Challenge's rewards are worth more than the money. Your idea will be judged by RBC for real-world application, and if your team is among the finalists, you will present your case to RBC executives. This kind of exposure shows RBC - and others - your capabilities far beyond the classroom.

See your idea in action

The Next Great Innovator Challenge isn't another theoretical what-if. RBC is serious about innovation. The runner-up submission of the first Challenge has already gone live to great acclaim: it became RBC BSL (opens external website in new window), the RBC site that's by and for young adults.

Our Applied Innovation team and partners from various business units are currently testing Year Two's winning idea, TelePresence. Year Three's winners designed a personal virtual online financial advisor to answer any financial questions a customer might have. What innovations will Year Four bring? You tell us. You could see your idea grow and even change the way RBC does business.
