The communiqué is a message from international businesses calling for ambitious, robust, and equitable global deal on climate change in the next round of negotiations of the UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen scheduled for December 2009.

The United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) Finance Initiative
UNEP FI is a global partnership between UNEP and the financial sector. Over 160 institutions, including banks, insurers and fund managers, work with UNEP to understand the impacts of environmental and social considerations on financial performance.
The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC)
Business Charter for Sustainable Development
The ICC Charter - which captures 16 key principles for environmental management - was developed by a group of business executives over a two-year period from 1989 to 1991. The Charter is regarded by many as a visionary document that set the environmental agenda for business and industry during the 1990s.
