RBC Emerging Artists
You may not realize it, but you will seldom have a night at an opera, symphony or play in Canada without experiencing the work or performance of a graduate of a program supported by the RBC Emerging Artists Project.
Over 30 projects across Canada help young artists bridge the gap from the academic to the professional world, not only in theatre and musical performance, but also in writing, film-making, glassmaking, playwrighting, curatorship, design and choreography. We are proud of all of them - and especially of their young graduates.
RBC believes in the power of the arts to enrich our lives and enhance our communities.
Our support through the RBC Emerging Artists Support Project is pillared on long-term partnerships with organizations whose programs bridge the gap from academic excellence to professional careers in all aspects of the arts. Almost without exception, program participants have passed national or international audition/jury processes.
