Introducing the RBC Wicket Cricket Community Fund

Established to provide growth opportunities for community cricket programming across Canada

RBC has a long tradition of supporting amateur sport at all levels. Our investment in cricket allows us to help build awareness and increase participation in the game to ensure the long term health and vitality of cricket for future generations. That’s why we’re proud to announce the launch of the RBC Wicket Cricket Community Fund, which will support local cricket programs or projects that have the potential to advance the game of cricket in your community and make it more accessible for all who wish to play – whether that’s by increasing the number of coaches or officials, by improving the quality or accessibility of playing surfaces, or by creating new places to play.

Your program or project may be eligible for an RBC Wicket Cricket Community Fund grant if it is focused on:

  • Providing a safe and welcoming environment for cricket
  • Demonstrating innovation in program delivery
  • Building awareness of the game of cricket within your community
  • Showing strong community management with solid participation

Community programs or projects that are grassroots in nature, demonstrate the potential to improve the game of cricket in your community, and/or show evidence of long-term sustainability in your community are all invited to apply.

Up to 50 grants of $1000 will be awarded from the RBC Wicket Cricket Community Fund, depending on the project budget and need.
