Our commitment to core giving is grounded in values that inspire us
RBC is committed to supporting endeavours that empower organizations to
make a difference and inspire others. Through funding from the RBC Foundation, donations are
intended to create social and economic opportunities that strengthen health and
wellbeing in the communities where we do business.

 Through
the RBC Foundation, we are committed to donating at least
one percent of our averaged annual net income before taxes,
based on a five-year average. In 2007 RBC donated $40,700,000
in Canada alone.
