RBC raises $350,000 in fight against multiple sclerosis
June, 2005 — For the
eighth consecutive year, RBC Financial Group (RBC) hosted
the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Charity Golf Tournament in Toronto,
Ontario, bringing together over 450 participants, 100 sponsors,
and 70 volunteers, and raising a record-breaking $350,000
in support the work of the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.
RBC is one of the MS Society's long-standing partners in
the fight against MS. The MS Charity Golf Tournament has raised
over $2.1 million since its inception. Proceeds fund research
into the cause and cure of MS, as well as provide a variety
of services to assist people with multiple sclerosis and their
families.
