In 2005, the Canadian Prairie province of Saskatchewan celebrated its 100th anniversary, and RBC Financial Group decided to help celebrate by sending treasures from the renowned Hockey Hall of Fame to tour the province. Why hockey? The citizens of Saskatchewan have a passion for hockey that is unrivalled in Canada. In fact, every year, about 425 amateur teams compete in more than 40 categories in the Saskatchewan Hockey Association Provincial Championships. After 100 years, it seems only fitting that RBC salute the province's love of the game with this special exhibit.

Focusing exclusively on Saskatchewan-born players, teams and achievements, the exhibit paid tribute to Saskatchewan's contribution to the sport that Canada calls its own.
