March 22 is World Water Day--and we’re proud to announce that our very first RBC Blue Water Project grant recipient, ONE DROP, is having a spectacular fundraising event to celebrate.
ONE DROP is a charitable organization founded by Cirque du Soleil creator Guy Laliberté to help ensure people around the world have fresh water. To mark World Water Day, Cirque is planning a once-in-a-lifetime event featuring performers from all seven of its Las Vegas shows, with “One Night for ONE DROP”, a show all about water. The show will be broadcast online for seven days beginning March 24, for a donation of $5 or more.
RBC is the founding corporate partner of ONE DROP in 2007, with a commitment of $10 million over ten years, including funding for the following projects:
