Continue your career progression here at RBC within Group Risk Management (GRM). GRM works in full partnership with RBC's businesses to identify, assess, mitigate and monitor all forms of risks. Let us leverage from your knowledge in this area while we build on your previous experiences and graduate studies. RBC affords you these unique opportunities through the Risk Management Rotational Program by exposing you to dynamic teams that manage risk classified in two broad categories; risks which we manage by formulating strategies and policies, and risks which we try to influence, such as systemic, reputational, strategic, competitive, regulatory and legal. Key areas of focus during your rotations in this program are enterprise market risk, quantitative analysis, regional market risk monitoring, and trading credit.
The Risk Management Rotational Program consists of at least two rotations of four months through both Enterprise Market Risk groups and Field Market Risk groups. It allows participants to gain hands-on experience while working directly with traders, marketers and other risk managers. These rotations include possible placements in either Toronto, New York or London.
We have an established group of professionals that scout talent at the graduate level and target students with an emphasis in finance, economics or a quantitative discipline. Individuals with a sound understanding of trading products and principles of derivative market risk will excel in this rotational program. Along with those that possess strong written and oral communication skills. Technically inclined candidates will also flourish in this environment because of their strong software development skills and experience in applying finance-related computational techniques.
At this integral phase in your career, the Risk Management Rotational Program is the choice for you; it will provide you with an opportunity to partner with experts and to be a part of a team of high performing individuals like yourself. Marry your quantitative and analytical skills with your astute problem solving abilities to excel in this dynamic and industry leading financial institution.
