Finance Management Development Program

Gain an overview of the RBC finance organization globally - obtaining the experience necessary to thrive in senior roles - and explore the challenges of working on complex financial issues. As part of a team of specialized professionals, you will make your mark providing sound financial governance and advice to internal business partners and external stakeholders in a complex, multi-GAAP, multinational environment, supporting business decisions, financial analyses and reporting.

Tackle challenging projects that are critical to our multiple global businesses and act as advisor for various business units. You'll dedicate everything you've learned achieving your MBA degree or equivalent post-graduate degree/diploma to reporting and policy management, teaming with many knowledgeable and experienced finance professionals. The desire to solve complex financial problems will ensure your success as you apply your cross-enterprise mindset and basic understanding of accounting and financial theory to our practical working environment. Experience in a business environment or in a finance field will be considered an asset.

This two-year program consists of four rotations of six months. These prearranged rotations may be held in either a head office or business unit finance environment and may include: monthly financial reporting, quarter-end forecasting, pricing analysis, financial monitoring, profit and loss model development for key portfolios or initiatives and G/L integrity reviews. Your peer coach and mentor will ensure you receive the most out of this opportunity, one that may offer the chance to complete a global assignment in its second year and may lead to an appropriate finance role.
