RBC Capital Markets Global Investment Banking division seeks out and hires energetic, bright and talented graduates for our Associate program. This well-established program has produced many of the industry experts that are the backbone of RBC Capital Markets and is one of our significant differentiators in a very competitive and dynamic marketplace.

A key component of this program is the orientation and training we provide for Associates. This approach ensures all new Associates are properly introduced to and prepared to work with the breadth of our financial products and services. Associates are assigned to transaction teams, working with our industry experts on deals with some of the leading corporate and institutional organizations on the continent. Associates are involved in a wide variety of transactions, including equity and debt financings, mergers, acquisitions and other financial advisory assignments.

Global Markets Program - Canada

The Global Markets Program ties many of RBC Capital Markets training programs in our Toronto, New York and London offices together to offer Trainees globally coordinated rotations and a broader perspective on capital markets while providing more opportunities for Trainees to pursue their interests.

At the end of the program Trainees can expect to obtain:

• Hands-on experience working along side some of the best in the business.
• Direct exposure to the different areas of the capital markets.
• A solid understanding of RBC Capital Markets’ global capabilities.
• Unique exposure to and experience in international markets.
• An informed opinion and guidance around which parts of capital markets best suit their individual goals and strengths.

This program allows Trainees to gain exposure and experience in the areas in which they are most interested, make important business connections, better understand RBC Capital Markets’ global capabilities and obtain further applied knowledge in some of our key businesses.

Great care and resources have been devoted to ensure that at the end of the program Trainees will have all of the elements necessary for a successful career in capital markets.
