RBC receives 2016 Collaboration Award for achievements in supplier diversity

November, 2016 - RBC was recognized with the 2016 Collaboration Award at the 12th Canadian Aboriginal Minority Supplier Council (CAMSC) Business Achievement Awards at a ceremony that celebrated diverse suppliers and the corporations that champion them. The Collaboration Awards recognize companies that work collaboratively with members, suppliers or other organizations to strengthen Aboriginal and minority business growth and facilitate supplier diversity.

“I’m very proud of CAMSC’s recognition of RBC’s strong collaboration efforts. Embedding diversity in what we do and working collaboratively allows us to better reflect the clients and communities we serve,” said Peter Conrod, Global Head of Procurement. “Collaboration and diversity and inclusion are two of our five values that form the foundation of our corporate culture, and this award demonstrates that our supplier diversity efforts are paying off.”

More information about the award and CAMSC is available at www.camsc.ca.
