Carolyn Burke named winner of the 2016 Women in Payments Distinguished Payments Professional Award

September 26, 2016 - The Women in Payments Award for Distinguished Payments Professional is a lifetime achievement award that recognizes a woman who has served as a role model and contributed greatly to the overall positive image of the payments industry.

Ms. Burke is the Head of Regulatory, Compliance and International in the Digital, Payments & Cards division at RBC.  Ms. Burke is a passionate and dedicated professional who has a wealth of international experience in financial services.  From her involvement in external committees to her current role as an influential and supportive leader in RBC’s payments team, she is a tireless proponent of advancing the payments industry to meet the needs of Canadians and supporting the dynamic evolution of the payments space.

 In addition to her significant responsibilities at RBC, she is active on internal and external committees and councils, including her role as the Chair of the Canadian Payments Association Membership Advisory Committee and member of the Canadian Bankers’ Association Senior Payments Committee.
