TORONTO, July 2, 2013 —RBC is #1 in Canada, ranking first by profits in the Globe and Mail's Report on Business' Top 1000 Canadian publicly-traded companies. The magazine looked at the largest Canadian corporations, measured by assets, and then ranked them according to after-tax profits in their most recent fiscal year. RBC gained two spots this year, improving from 3rd position in 2011, and came out ahead of #2 ranked- Bank of Nova Scotia and third-ranked TD. RBC was also the leader by market capitalization.
